Arcade, Sega Saturn: 21: First 4 rows of the select screen minus Ermac, Mileena and Classic Sub-Zero.
Super Nintendo, Sega Genesis: 23: First 4 rows of the select screen plus Noob Saibot and Rain.


Hidden (Playable) Kombatants:

Arcade, Sega Saturn: 4: Human Smoke, Ermac, Mileena, Classic Sub-Zero.
Super Nintendo, Sega Genesis: 3: Human Smoke, Motaro, Shao Kahn.


Bosses:

Sub-Boss: Motaro.
Boss: Shao Kahn.


Finishers:

Arcade, Sega Saturn: Each character can perform 2 Fatalities, 1 Friendship, 1 Animality and 1 Babality.
Super Nintendo, Sega Genesis: Same as Arcade plus 1 Brutality per kombatant.
Aditionally, each character can perform a Mercy pressing (Hold Run) Down, Down, Down, (Release Run) in the third round, to grant the opponent a little bit of health to continue the fight.


Finishers Guidelines:

Friendship: To perform a Friendship, you must not Block in the winning round.
Babality: Same as above.
Animality: (Do all this in the third round) When the "Finish Him/Her!" message appears, perform a Mercy, defeat your opponent again and when a second "Finish Him/Her!" message appears, perform the button combination to perform your kombatant's Animality.

Human Smoke: To fight as Human Smoke, select (Cyborg) Smoke and before the round begins Press and Hold Back + High Punch + High Kick + Block + Run.
